The Third Entity™

There is no question that when two or more people come together, something else shows up. At the Center for Right Relationship (CRR — my alma mater), they call it the relationship system, not just the relationship. The reason we call it that is because there is more than just a link between different individuals — much more. A relationship system is the series of experiences, events and behaviors that happen when 2 or more people come together around a common purpose. Those experiences, events and behaviors are inextricably linked to one another and are affected by everyone involved.

Now, this isn’t necessarily a new concept – Napoleon Hill and others have noticed it before.

What is new, is having a way to actually work with that “third, invisible, intangible force” that we call a relationship system. As a CRR graduate, I’m able to bring the concept of the Third Entity as a way to work directly with relationship systems. It’s a way of looking at relationships in an entirely new way, arriving at entirely new results.

The Third Entity is the core of all my relationship coaching work and I use of dozens of tools, processes and applications developed by CRR to deliver on what is known to be true about relationship systems. The Third Entity concept equips me to not only explore and understand your own perspective, but to help you truly appreciate and experience the position of someone else.

Using this as a starting point, we then move to exploring the perspective of your own Relationship System – what’s actually trying to happen – from a resourceful, equipped, and more-than-empathetic position.
